What is Safe Place?
You may have noticed these bright yellow signs at every QT gas station in Georgia, indicating a safe haven for youth. Raising Queens Braids, known for offering exceptional hair braiding in Loganville, GA, has partnered with Positive Impact International to create a Safe Place for our community. We are proud to announce that we are the new Safe Place location in Loganville!
Safe Place is a national youth outreach and prevention program designed for individuals under 18 (up to 21 years in some areas) who need immediate help and safety. This collaborative community initiative designates businesses and organizations as Safe Place locations, ensuring that assistance is easily accessible to youth across the nation. Safe Place locations can be found in libraries, YMCAs, fire stations, public buses, various businesses, and social service facilities.
Each designated Safe Place location displays the Safe Place sign, the universal symbol of youth safety. Our entire staff is trained to assist youth in need, and as a leading provider of hair braiding in Loganville, we are incredibly proud of this partnership.
